Jamshedpur, Sept 14: A cleanliness fortnight is being observed in the premises of SDSM School for Excellence. This concept is based on Mahatma Gandhi�s unique thoughts propagated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The cleanliness fortnight is being observed as per guidelines of the CBSE Board. Special stress is being laid on boycott of polythene products in view of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of the Father of the Nation.
To make the fortnight celebrations interesting events like rallies and competitions in painting, slogan writing, essay, street corner plays, hand wash, model making, spontaneous quiz and disposal of e waste have been lined up.
The programme was jointly inaugurated by school Principals Pragya Singh (DAV School Bistupur and CBSE City Coordinator), Mina Bilku (Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalay, Telco), Rashmi Bhatia (Blue Bells School, Mango), and Moushumi Das (SDSM School for Excellence, Sidgora).
