Jamshedpur: A cleanliness campaign was launched on the banks of Gurra river at Narwa in Jadugora here on Monday. Heaps of garbage thrown on the banks of the river by visitors during Chhath were cleaned by UCIL employees. Members of Narwa Pahar UCIL Colony Committee cleaned the river bank and appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness everywhere. Among those present during the campaign included Kapil Dev Sharma, Maheshwar Das, Manoranjan Bhagat, DN Singh and Dhaneshwar Prasad.
