Chaibasa, June 24: Executive officer of Nagar Parishad Kamal Kumar Singh launched a cleanliness drive at Chaibasa municipality areas as monsoon has set in.
Executive engineer Singh wants to ensure the free flow of water during heavy rainfall.
The drainage and sewerage were cleaned with the help of JCB Machine at Jain Market, Pillai hall and Sadar police station areas so that water logging would not take place and the commuters would not suffer during rainy season.
The Nagar Parishad is now fully prepared to face such situation.
