The large heaps of garbage kept in the market here and there keep raising a question mark on the efficacy of the district administration�s cleaning staff. Every day, a large number of people visit the market to purchase vegetables from vendors who sit close to the heaps of garbage.
According to Mohan Rao, a local resident, �There is not a single dustbin near the market. This is why people have no choice but to throw the garbage in the open. Despite numerous complaints, no action has been taken in this regard by the authorities concerned.�
