Class 3 student raped in Ranchi, accused arrested

Ranchi: Incidents like molestation and rape are being carried out continuously in the capital Ranchi. On one hand, the government continuously claims about the safety of women, but on the ground, the claims are seen failing.

The latest case has come from Dhurva police station area where a minor student studying in class six was raped after entering her house. It is being told that the accused committed this incident late on Friday night when the student was alone at home.

However, after receiving information about the incident, the Dhurva police took immediate action and arrested the accused. According to the Dhurva police, the mother of the minor girl had observed a fast on Jitiya Vrat and on Friday night the minor’s mother performed puja near the house.

At that time the 13 year old minor girl was alone at home. On getting information about this, the accused entered the house of the minor girl and made the minor a victim of his lust. During this time, when the minor started making noise, the accused closed his mouth and also threatened to kill him.

When the incident of rape of a minor student was being carried out, the minor’s mother reached home. And at that time the accused was present in the house. Hearing the screams of the minor, his mother came inside the house and the accused started trying to escape.

But the victim’s mother became furious and raised an alarm and caught hold of the accused. Hearing the voices of the mother and the student, nearby people also gathered and beat the accused fiercely.

After this the accused was handed over to the police of Dhurva police station. In the case, the police recorded the statement of the minor on Saturday and also got him medically examined.

Dhurva police station in-charge Vimal Nandan Sinha said that the accused has been arrested.
