Jamshedpur : Unruly scenes mark organizational polls. Two groups of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) activists clashed between themselves following an organizational poll held at Kashidih under Sakchi thana area this evening.
According to sources, Babua Singh who was elected as district committee president of the party in the election today was celebrating along with his supporters at Kashidih at 4 pm, when his rival Dharmendra Prasad was crossing that area.
The supporters of Dharmendra suddenly attacked on the supporters of Babua Singh, leading a clash between the two sides.
The supporters of Dharmendra Prasad fled the spot having assaulted the supporters of Babua Singh who later went over to the Sakchi thana for lodging a complaint.
Police said no one was injured in the clash, adding that they are investigating into the complaint.
