Civil Surgeon inspects Baharagora Trauma Centre

Baharagora: East Singhbhum Civil Surgeon and CMO DR Maheshwar Prasad inspected the Trauma Centre today as per directives of Principal Secretary of the Health Department along with the in-charge Health Officer Dr Om Prakash Chaudhary.
It may be mentioned here that legislator Kunal Sarangi had met the Principal Secretary of the Health Department and demanded that the Trauma Centre be made totally operative with the posting of specialist doctors. This resulted in today�s inspection. Dr Prasad has been directed to present a detailed report on status of the Trauma Centre.
The Civil Surgeon stated that with the posting of doctors, the Centre would become fully operational. He said that together with the posting of doctors, he would point out other necessities for the Trauma Centre.
Dr Prasad also inspected the Community Health Centre. He held a meeting with doctors and instructed them to restart Caesarian surgery within a week.
