Jamshedpur, Aug 23: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand hosted the Second Edition of the CII Jharkhand Badminton Tournament on Saturday in Jamshedpur, bringing together industry members, professionals, and sports enthusiasts for a day of fitness and camaraderie.
A total of 114 participants from different industries competed in the tournament, which aimed to promote health, wellness, and community bonding. CII officials said the event was not only a sporting competition but also a platform to encourage healthier lifestyles and strengthen professional and personal ties among participants.
In the results, Abhishek Gupta and Imran emerged winners in the Men’s Doubles category, defeating Shashank and Shivansh, who finished as runners-up. In the Mixed Doubles, Jasreen Kaur teamed up with Gurnam Singh to clinch the title, while Shraddha Agarwal and Abhishek Gupta secured the runner-up position. The Women’s Doubles title went to Jasreen Kaur and Namrata Indorewalla, with Laxmi and Sabita finishing second.
The tournament concluded on a high note, with participants and organizers hailing it as a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and unity. CII Jharkhand said such initiatives will continue to inspire industries and individuals to embrace fitness and build stronger community connections.
