Jamshedpur, Oct. 29: Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) along with the Computer Society of India is organizing a three-day exhibition-cum-seminar titled “Digital Jharkhand (Re imagining the Future)” from October 30 to November 1 at United Club in the steel city with a view to harness the technology for inclusive growth and development as well as address the urgent transformational need for the state.
Several prominent leaders of the IT world – especially those leading adoption of Digital – are likely to participate in the event.
A press release issued by the organisers stated that Digital Jharkhand will showcase the art and science of the possible and make it accessible to the investors, industrialists and government bodies.
It will offer participants to engage with thought leaders from government and industry to help re-imagine the Jharkhand of the future and would also provide a platform to showcase the innovation and the future plans to make a significant change in the society with the help of IT in Jharkhand.

The three day seminar cum exhibition will highlight how the evolving digital age is rapidly transforming and impacting all dimensions of life today, thus making it even more critical to understand the implications of managing knowledge.
Celebration of 50 years of IT will be organized on Friday, October 30. Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das, and State Secretary Department of IT & E Commerce are expected to inaugurate the Exhibition on Saturday, October 31, which will be followed by seminar on “Digital Jharkhand” wherein companies like Tata Communications, HP, IBM, Skylink Communications, HCL Commet, Cisco, Tata Technologies, Tata Business Support Services Ltd, Vodafone, Dassault System, Schinder, SAP, Ricoh India, Tata Motors and other will participate.
The inauguration will be followed by an interaction session with the government and industry. There will also be a session on smart living and smart industry on this day. On November 1, students will participate in panel discussions related to IT in education.
