Jamshedpur: Hindu Jagran Manch leaders Friday assailed Christian Missionaries for allegedly trying to mislead Adivasis of Jharkhand by promoting books having anti-Hindu and objectionable contents during an ongoing exhibition at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur.
The outfit general secretary Amit Sharma, in a press statement issued today, said, The exhibition, it seems, has given way to a conspiracy by certain Christian Missionary elements trying to misguide the tribal people and other readers through wrong explanation of Hinduism and various other books. Such books are being displayed at the exhibition with the sole objective of carrying out religious conversion of Adivasis, Hindus and other vulnerable communities.
Sharma said any attempt to bring a bad name to Hinduism will not be tolerated. He demanded that the East Singhbhum district administration and the organizers of the event should take prompt action against the culprits for hurting Hindu sentiments.
