Chopper aid to Congress election campaign in Jharkhand

Ranchi: All India Congress Committee will be providing as many as four helicopters to the state Congress leaders for running the election campaign across Jharkhand. Two helicopters will be made available till 27th March.

This was informed today by the party�s state general secretary-cum-spokesperson Dr Shailesh Sinha. He said the party leaders and candidates will use the helicopters to reach various constituencies to address public meetings. The use of helicopters will save a lot of time and effort, he said.

State Congress committee has handed over a list of its star campaigners to the state Election Commission. The leaders will include Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and other national leaders of the party.
