Jamshedpur: Chitragupt puja will be celebrated on Friday, November 9. The worship of the deity is being organized by Akhil Bharatiya Kayasth Mahasabha (ABKM) in 19 blocks of the district.
The ABKM has ensured that Chitragupt puja is observed devotedly in all the 19 blocks. The program includes Chitragupt worship in the morning followed by the distribution of Mahaprasad. Cultural programs are lined up for the evening after which dinner arrangements have been made.
Chitragupt puja is being organized by the Chitransh community in the city since before independence. On November 10, the immersion processions will assemble at 4 pm at ADL Society. These processions will then move to Subarnarekha river via the Sakchi roundabout.
