Jamshedpur: Chinmaya Vidyalaya South Park, Bistupur, organized a two-day Ramcharitmanas Parayan Path competition on April 23 and 24, 2026. The event saw 100 students showcasing their linguistic skills and spiritual devotion.
Fostering Cultural and Linguistic Roots
The primary objective of the competition was to familiarize students with traditional customs and the timeless values of the Ramcharitmanas. Beyond spiritual growth, the event focused on developing a technical understanding of:
- Awadhi Language: Mastering the nuances of the regional dialect.
- Poetic Excellence: Understanding the use of Chhand (meters), Alankar (figures of speech), and classical poetic styles.
- Spiritual Awareness: Awakening a sense of faith, devotion, and inner peace.
Competition Winners
The participants were divided into three categories (Groups A, B, and C). The following students emerged as winners:

The panel of judges, comprising Vinita Mishra and Mani Pandey, meticulously evaluated the performances. The event was conducted under the guidance of School Vice-President B. Surendranath and Principal Manishankar Pathak.
