Children steal the show at KPS fancy dress event

Jamshedpur, Feb 8: A Fancy Dress Competition’ was organized in the precincts of Kerala Public School
Kadma on Saturday.

Almost 150 children of the Nursery, LKg and Ukg classes participated enthusiastically. Flagging the show, the Principal Mrs. Sharmila Mukherjee inspired the participants with encouraging words.

The Chief Guest for the programme was Mrs. Lakshmi Sharat, Coordinator Kerala Public Schools.

The Director of the school Sharat Chandran graced the occasion with his august presence and inspired the students with his motivating words. Departing from the tradition, three of the parents viz. Mr. Sanjay, Mr. Ghosh and Mr. M. Satish were invited to judge the events.

A wave of colours spread over the greenery as children dressed in all sorts, criss-crossed over the stage. The theme for Nursery children was – ‘Go green’, for L.Kg. children ‘sports articles and Halloween’.

The U.Kg. children were dressed in the attire of people from different ountries ll the world over, and spoke about the country they represented. Jubilance was seen dancing in the eyes of the spectators. The prize distribution was done by the Principal.

The prize winners were: Nursery Ayushi Biswas was first, Amrita Saswal was second while Swastika Patel was third.

From LKG Ayanangshu Dey was first, Ankit Mahato was second while ash Upadhyay was third. In UKG Aditya Bhushal bagged the first prize, Adarsh Kumar was the runners up while Rajveer was third at the event.

Besides, Certificates of appreciation were handed over to all the participants.

The programme was concluded by the Vice Principal Mrs. Harmit Pal with words of gratitude to the judges, parents and participants and thanked the team of teachers for the hard work and dedication.
