Children stage nukkad natak Ek aur Satya

Jamshedpur, Jan. 30: Children of the Sonari Birsa Basti presented nukkad natak on the occasion of the 69th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Monday, January 30.

The programme organised by Gandhi Shanti Pratisthan and Srijan Bharti, the children from Birsa Sanskriti Kala Dal staged nukkad natak ‘Ek aur Satya’ and gave message of Cleanliness, prohibition and truth.

Convener of Gandhi Shanti Pratisthan, Arvind Anjum said, the main motive behind the event was to instill studying habit among the children of the busti region.

At the event 100 books set was also provided to Goutam Dheer of Birsa Sanskriti Kala Dal. The books are related to Mahatma Gandi, Vinoba Bhave, Jayprakash Narayan and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia.

40 stories books for children was also provided. People present on the occasion pledged to build a library in the busti and run it smoothly. At the event Arvind Anjum said, without knowledge a person cannot move ahead in life.

There are powers present who always want to take the society behind but there should be progressive elements present to take the society ahead. Srijan Bharti felicitated the artists who presented the nukkad natak.

Present on the occasion was Sujit Kumar, Vikram Kumar Jha, Rashmi Jha, Tarun Kumar, Ishtiyak Jouhar and others.
