New Delhi: On Day 6 of the Archery Premier League, Chero Archers played two matches, winning one and losing the other, bringing their overall record to two wins and four losses so far in the tournament.
The day started on a high note as Chero Archers defeated Mighty Marathas 2-0. The team showed strong teamwork and consistency, winning the first two sets and drawing the third to seal the match early. The first set ended 75-73 in favour of Chero, followed by a 73-70 win in the second set. The third set ended in a 77-77 draw. Top performers in the match included Sahil, Prithika, Atanu, and Katharina, who played exceptionally well in the first set. Mathias contributed in the second set, scoring two perfect 10s, while Prithika and Atanu maintained consistent form throughout all sets.
In their second match of the day, Chero Archers faced Chola Chiefs and suffered a narrow 0-2 defeat. The contest was tightly fought, with the first two sets ending in draws, 75-75 and 72-72. However, Chola Chiefs edged ahead in the third and fourth sets, winning 77-74 and 78-77 respectively. Mathias again scored perfect 10s in the third set, while Prithika and Atanu continued their reliable performance. Despite the team’s strong efforts, they narrowly missed victory in a thrilling finish.
Chero Archers remain optimistic as the league progresses. With a mix of experienced players and new talent delivering impressive performances, the team is focused on improving their record and bouncing back stronger in upcoming matches.
