Jamshedpur, June 3: The Central Board for Workers Education (CBWE), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India and Indian Railways jointly organised organised one day seminar on “Change Management” (Parivartan Prabhandhan) for the officers & staffs of ELTC (Electric Loco Training centre) at Training Hall, ELTC, Tatanagar on Wednesday.
At the event 109 railway officers and workers participated. Chief Guest of the event was Education officer of CBWE, Pashupati Nath Sah. He was welcomed by Professor of ELTC Amulyo Kumar Pashupati.
Pashupati on the occasion appreciated the work of Loco Pilots in railways and also highlighted their work style. Chief Guest while addressing the gathering said that Indian railways is on the road to development as LIC is supporting railways and providing 1.5 lakh crore for its development.
Along with this Industrialist Ratan Tata has also been roped in for Kaya Kalp council to help change fortunes of Indian Railways.
Shah explained three types of Change Management and briefed about them. Change by chance, Change by force and change by creation were in change by chance were employment based skill development which helps in massive development.
In change by force there is an option for learning and it depends upon time while in change by creation innovation and visionary efficiency is developed.
At the end of the programme PN Singh, Inspector at Electric Loco Training centre (ELTC) said that Indian Railways is thankful towards CBWE as they are helping the railway employees learn which has inspired Loco pilots. Lalit Mihan Mohanty extended vote of thanks.
