Chandan Chess Academy Jamshedpur celebrates International Chess Day

Jamshedpur: International Chess Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and strategic brilliance at Tumbling Tortilos, as chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels gathered to honor the timeless game. The event, which takes place annually on July 20th, showcased the universal appeal of chess, transcending borders and cultures.

Akshay Agrawal, a prominent social worker and the event’s Chief Guest, graced the occasion with his presence. The event was hosted by Chandan Kumar Prasad, an International Arbiter and the Head Chess Coach of Chandan Chess Academy. In his address to the gathering,  Agrawal highlighted the significance of promoting chess as an educational tool and a means of developing critical thinking skills. His inspirational words left a lasting impact on the attendees, reinforcing their dedication to advancing chess within the community.

Among those present were students of Chandan Chess Academy, including Soryadipta Sarkar, Akshat Goyal, Purav Rushabh Gandhi, Vivaan Rahul Mittal, Vanya Sanghi, Avihshka Dubey, Akash Nagelia, Aman Nagelia, Anvi Agarwal, Vedik Nagelia, Aakhyaan Dubey, Moulik Gandhi, and Aanchal.
