Jamshedpur : The alleged extortionist network has now extended its activities across the district as some traders have complained of receiving threats from them.
The threatening calls created unrest among the local business community and the matter was reported to DC and SSP by a traders delegation, and they assured them of action.
A delegation of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce led by president Mohanlal Agrawal and sought immediate intervention. The president said that he has received thretening calls on his number 9386174100 from 923023499447.
He noted he had filed a report at Jugsalai police station but the authorities there have expressed inability to take further action .
On the occasion, Shankar Mittal , Harvinder Singh , Santosh Agarwal , Umesh Kountia , Bajrang Lal Agarwal , Nandakishor Agarwal , Dhrmchandra Poddar , Trilochan Singh , Ravi Shankar Pandey were present.
