Chaibasa Pillai Hall gets much needed makeover, courtesy Rungta Mines

Jamshedpur, Aug 10: Pillai Hall, one of the historic buildings which has been the centre for socio-cultural activities for last several decades got much-awaited makeover, courtesy Rungta Mines Ltd., one of the leading players in steel manufacturing and mining of India as part of its CSR initiatives.

The revamped Pillai Hall auditorium which accommodates 435 persons including ground floor and balcony is now equipped with HVAC system, light and sound system, false ceiling with acoustic panelling with tile and granite flooring.

The venue has been beautified with fountain in front of the portico, paver block flooring in front of building along with amenities like rainwater recharge pit, DG back up during power cuts, green rooms for male and female artists, washrooms for audience, potable drinking water through purifier etc.

The auditorium will definitely prove to be a boon to the community for years to come.
