CGPC Jamshedpur withdraws all cases

Jamshedpur, April 3: The Jamshedpur Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) Pradhan Gurmukh Singh Mukhey has stated that being in a position of responsibility it was his responsibility to ensure unity among the Sikh community. He believed that it was of utmost importance to wipe off all animosities to usher in unity. As such, he met City SP Prabhat Kumar and withdrew in writing all cases.

Talking to reporters Gurmukh Sing stated that there were people who had filed cases against him during the SGPC elections on May 26, 2018. He said, �I have withdrawn all cases. It is up to those who have filed cases against me to withdraw those cases or let them continue. I leave the decision on them.�

It may be recalled that Gurmukh Singh Mukhey had launched a hunger strike in demand for SGPC elections.

Gatherings in all Gurudwaras to observe Prakash Utsav: The 550th Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak will be celebrated in all Gurudwaras of the city. A procession will be taken out from Sitaramdera Gurudwara on 20th April which will proceed to Golmuri, Tuiladungri Chowk and conclude at Sakchi Gurudwara.

On the concluding day of Prakash Utsav on 21st April there will be a religious congregation at Sonari Gurudwara which will be attended by Amritsar Shri Akal Takht Jatthedar Gyani Harprit Singh, Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Pradhan Govind Singh Longowal, Delhi SGPC Pradhan Bhai Majinder Singh Sirsa, Panth�s popular Kirtan Jattha comprising Bhai Satnam Singh Kuharka, Bhai Shaukeen Singh, narrator Bhai Jagdev Singh Dhandi and other famous personalities of the community.
