Jamshedpur: Manisha Agiwal, the CBSE Class 12th Commerce topper of Steel city wants to become a Chartered Accountant (CA).
The top performer of DAV Bistupur school, who scored 96.6 percent, hails from Chakradharpur. She studied up to 10th in the South Eastern Railway Mixed High School, Chakradharpur, before joining DAV Bistupur in the 12th class.
“I expected to fetch over 90 percent marks. I am happy with the percentage I have got,” said a visibly jubilant Manisha whose simplicity enchants one and all.
Daughter of businessman Bajrang Agiwal, Manisha wanted to shift to a relatively bigger town to pursue her studies. “I have not yet decided about my future career, but my immediate aim is to prepare for CA exams,” Manisha said.
Elder of the two siblings, Manisha said she received huge support and cooperation from her family members during her two-year stay in the city.
The CA wannabe also has interest in fine arts and takes out time to create artistic stuff whenever she is not studying.
The school teachers and classmates have congratulated Manisha for her outstanding performance.
