Jamshedpur, May 28: St. Mary’s English High School students put up a good show in the CBSE Class 12 exam, whose results were declared on Sunday morning.
Aakanksha with 90.2 % marks topped the school in commerce section, while Muskan Agarwal scored 88 % marks in the commerce followed by Shruti Trivedi, who scored 85.6 % marks to bag the third spot in the school in the commerce stream.
In pure science, Shubham Sinha scored 88.6 to become the school topper, second place was jointly bagged by Rumi Bharti and S Rahul Badami who scored 87.6 % marks while Aditya Kumar was third with 86.6 % marks.
In bio science, Atoofa Jabeen was the school topper with 86% marks, Sumaiya Hoda was the second school topper with 85.6 % marks while Arthiti Mishra was third with 82.2 % marks.
Taking about the result, Fr. Puthumai . Raj, principal of the school, said, “I am satisfied with the overall result but the science students’ percentage got down but hope the results take upward trends from next year onwards.
He added, “I would like to thank each and every teacher and student who has put in a lot of hard work and would like the performance to improve for better next year.”
