Noamundi, Dec 4: Acting on a tip-off, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team comprising of eight members raided the house of Railway Sr. Section engineer in Badajamda and caught him red handed taking bribe from a contractor.
The team arrested engineer LK Sharma from his address Quarter No-1, Railway Colony in Badajamda on Thursday. Sharma allegedly has been involved is number of cases accepting bribes from several railway contractors were the CBI team also took stock of other malpractices that were carried out.
Continuing the raid the team didn�t disclose the detail of the raid to the media persons and continued the raid till the news was written down. The team from the state capital arrived at the house at 9 in the morning.
