Sources said the incident happened in the morning when the victim, after withdrawing cash from the Bistupur branch of HDFC Bank, went to Sonari and parked his car in Q Zone. Singh had kept the cash in the car itself.

When after sometime, he returned to his car, he found the left hand side window of the car smashed and cash gone. He lodged a complaint with the Sonari police station later after failing to get whiff of the cash and thieves.
