Jamshedpur, Nov 16: Unidentified thieves took away cash worth Rs 20,000 from the house of one Sakibuddin at Road No 13 in Zakirnagar under Azadnagar police station area late Monday night. They also stole away several documents from the house, sources said.
Sakibuddin told cops he came to know about the theft when he reached home yesterday around 10 am. The main gate was open and the lock was broken. Beside laying his hands on the cash, the thief stole away a tab, ATM card, driving licence and motor vehicle registration certificate from the house.
Police said an investigation was underway to detect the theft.
