Jamshedpur, Apr 16: Carmel Junior College held its Student Council formation ceremony on Wednesday in the school auditorium. Hemang Gandhi and Vanshita Saini were appointed as Head Boy and Head Girl for the academic year 2025–26. Raghav Mishra and Linisha were selected as School Secretaries, while Diane Singhal and Samaira Kaur took charge as Sports Ministers. Several other posts were also filled as part of the student cabinet, which plays a key role in school administration.
The ceremony began with a traditional lamp-lighting by School Manager Sister Jyoti, Principal Sister Sharel, Vice Principal Sister Amala Rani and senior teachers. Badges were then conferred by the school leadership, followed by an oath-taking ceremony. Both the Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering, expressing their commitment.
Principal Sister Sharel congratulated the council members and inspired them to serve with sincerity. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the school song.
