Career Guidance Workshop PANKH 2023 at Loyola School Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur : Yi Jamshedpur organised the first edition of Career Guidance Workshop PANKH 2023 in association with Loyola School Jamshedpur on Saturday, 4th November 2023. The workshop was attended by over 700 students from various schools in Jamshedpur, including DBMS Kadma, Sheyn International School Mango, Sheyn International School Gamharia, Loyola School, Dayanand Public School, Bal Gyanpeeth and Kerela Public school Mango.

The workshop started with eminent speakers from different industries explaining the students about the profession, education requirements, challenges and monetary expectations from such careers. The speakers present during the session were:

Leena Adesara (Educator for differently-abled children)

and Pratik Jawanpuria (Principal Applied Scientist at Microsoft)

The students then had the opportunity to meet these professionals personally for a tête-à-tête in breakout rooms. Students engaged in deep conversations about the future of these careers and ways to achieve their goals.

The event was a truly great learning session for the students of these schools. Yi Jamshedur has signed MoUs with various schools in the city under project Thalir (meaning a budding leaf) and continuously works with schools for the development of students.

The event was held under the leadership of Yi Jamshedur Thalir team – Rahul Bhagat, Rishi Arora and Bijal Metha along with Learning team Shraddha Agarwal, Arush Sabberwal and Sumit Agrawal and Chapter Chair Pratik Agrawal. Members of Young Indians who made the event possible include Vivek Debuka, Rohit Kedia, Shruti Jhunjhunwalla, Akshay Agrawal, Amit Agrawal, Sagar Chanana, Ria Agarwal, Vishal Gandhi and Abhishek Gupta.

The event was supported by past chairs Divya Taneja and Pulkit Jhunjhunwala.
