Jamshedpur: Annual Career Fair ‘Manzil Ki Ore’ was held at Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma on Saturday. The fair was inaugurated by Sharat Chandran, Director KPS Schools.
Principal Sharmila Mukherjee in her address said, this is an initiative by Kerala Public School to guide the students of Std. X, XI & XII on the different career choices and avenues and help them choose the career of their interest.
Various universities and colleges participated in this fair covering a gamut of professions and streams- Conventional and unconventional such as skill development, hospitality industry, communication, entrepreneurship, nutrition, hypnotherapy, Radio Jockey, Banking and Finance, Fashion designing, Interior designing, Fashion academy, Journalism, Administrative services, Defence, Navy army services, law, Robotics, Information technology, Chartered Accountancy and much more.
Out of the box career options such as Art, Animation Photography, Creativity, Astrology made a huge impact. The fair also hosted eminent resource people from various fields. The fair also emphasized on children becoming entrepreneurs and to this cause startups.
Dance academies from in and around Jamshedpur put up their entertainment programmes to help children envision a career in dance and performing arts.
Overall it was a career fair with a difference. More than two thousand children participated and made the best.
