Jamshedpur, Sept. 14: Annual mega trade fair, �Canvas India-2019� began at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur on Saturday. Organised by Concern (India) Shows Private Ltd and promoted by Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Canvas trade fair was inaugurated by Union Minister for Tribal Affairs�Arjun Munda.
The 17th Canvas trade fair will continue till September 24. Addressing the gathering, Munda said, “Canvas India is a big exhibition for enterprise and entrepreneurship trade and commerce which helps make way for entrepreneurial development and market.”
“Trade fair gives consumers a better choice that to at a minimal price. This region has a better environment in entrepreneurship development and Jamshedpur is rich in this case,” Munda opined.
Former Chief Minister further said, “Recession has both adverse and friendly side. Economy is like a river wave which is always in motion but there are ups and downs and its wrong when people take advantage of the situation for their own benefits.”
Suresh Sonathalia informed Canvas fair will help bring in liquid money in the market.
Director of Concern (India) Shows Private Ltd Jyoti Pandey informed that more 650 stalls along with 100 outlets of branded products including handicrafts, real estate, automobile, electronics, appliances, IT, Institute & Banking, Builder & Industrial, Furniture, Food, Consumer and FMCG.
Separate entertainment and gaming zone along with food festival and local delicacies are being offered to the visitors. The shopping carnival will also see cultural programs over a period of 10-days.
Pandey went on to say that the fair will also have entry
fees were every visitors will have dole out Rs 25 to enter the fair and enjoy
the evening.
CCTVs and adequate security arrangements have also been made to ensure the
peaceful environment.
