Gamharia: Congress activists took out a candle march in honour of the Indian martyrs of the terrorist attack in Uri at Gamharia on Wednesday.
The march started at Durga Puja ground in Chhota Gamharia and culminated at Lal Building Chowk. A large number of local residents too, attended the procession.
They raised anti-Pakistan slogans and demanded strong retaliation against the Pakistan Army and terrorists infiltrating from across the border.
A condolence meet was also held on the occasion by the Congress activists. It was attended by Sriram Thakur, Savita Sao, Akhilesh Tiwary, Brajesh Singh, Brijmohan Singh, Ashish Pati, Jitendra Kumar, Sanjay Singh and Subhash Kumar.
