Jamshedpur: JVM�s Ajoy Kumar, BJP�s Bidyut Baran Mahto and Niroop Mahanty of the JMM exercised their franchise at different booths, but before that the Candidates offered prayers to almighty before heading for their destination.
According to information, the JVM candidate went to the Beldih Kalibari in Northern Town for prayers. He also participated in the rituals. The sitting MP, a former Jamshedpur SP, then headed straight to Sikhsha Niketan School in Telco to cast his vote.
�I am happy with the response. I am getting positive feedbacks from both urban and rural segments,� the JVM candidate said after interacting with the voters.
Meanwhile, Bidyut went to vote at Rajkiya Madhya Vidyalaya at Krishnapur in Gamharia block in adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district, which comes under the Singhbhum Lok Sabha constituency.
Bidyut was accompanied by his wife Usha, mother Sushila Devi, son Kunal, daughter Shalini and elder sister Shefali.
�I will respect the mandate but as of now the voting trend is in my favour in urban and rural rural areas too,� said Mahto.
JMM candidate Mahanty and his wife Rupa were at the polling booth at Loyola School. �I am happy with positive feedbacks from all the six assembly segments. Let�s see what happens,� said Mahanty.
