Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum to help cancer victim Purnima Devi, resident of Dharampur in Jamtara, by connecting her to the incurable disease treatment scheme. At the same time, they have been asked to inform their families by providing help for immediate shelter. After the Chief Minister’s order, within one hour the victim and his family were provided shelter home in Jamshedpur. DC Suraj Kumar informed the Chief Minister that a shelter home has been arranged in Mango for the stay of the woman and her family. The Chief Minister was informed that Purnima Devi, a resident of Dharampur, Jamtara, is a very poor woman. She is suffering from cancer.
