JNAC, Tata Steel UISL Launch Cleanliness Drive to Promote Zero-Waste Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 13: A special meeting was organised today under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) to intensify the ‘Adopt Cleanliness, Drive Away Diseases’ campaign in the city.

Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee and General Manager (Town Operations & Maintenance) of Tata Steel UISL jointly presided over the meeting attended by sanitation leaders, supervisors and regional incharges.
Officials announced an awareness campaign across residential and commercial areas on waste segregation, old clothes donation to Reduce-Reuse-Recycle centres and e-waste collection.
Strict action was proposed against violators. Citizens were urged to dispose of old mobiles, chargers, bulbs and batteries responsibly.
The initiative aims to make Jamshedpur a national example in zero-waste and sustainable sanitation.
