Camp for disabled children held at Gamharia

Gamharia: A health camp was organized at Gamharia block headquarters for physically challenged and the sightless children.

On the occasion legislator of Ichagarh Sadhu Charan Mahato said that disabled children too are the gifts from God. It is the responsibility of all to serve the disadvantaged children in the society. He said the State Government would extend all possible assistance to such children.

On the occasion block development officer Laxmi Narayan Kishore, representative of the Seraikela legislator, Mangi Lal Mahato and district superintendent of education Suresh Chandra Ghosh were present.

Ghosh on the occasion said that the government had provided 62 wheel-chairs, 41 tri-cycles, 22 crutches and other equipments for physically and visually impaired children. After check-ups the equipments were distributed among 233 children.
