Burnwal orders probes into irregularities raised at �Jan Samvad� program

Ranchi, Feb. 23: Secretary to the CM Sunil Kr. Burnwal detected three big irregularities at the Chief Minister�s �Jan Samvad� program and ordered officials to initiate actions on them. He directed the officials to set up an enquiry committee and investigate the matter and submit a report within a week.

Acting on the complaint of one Kranti Kumari of Latehar, who claimed that she has not been paid her salary (Rs. 5,000) from September 2014, the secretary was told by the foundation authorities that Nisha Foundation is paying her Rs. 8,000 per month. The secretary authorized the civil surgeon to get the matter probed as to how the company is taking Rs. 8,000 and paying Rs. 5,000 to Kranti Kumri.

On the complaint of illegal withdrawal of Rs. 977,630 by junior engineer Manjoor Alam, post master Vidyapati Mandal and BDO Dhiraj Kumar, the secretary ordered for investigation in this master roll scam.

He directed to probe into the allegations against sevika Menu Far, who did not go to aangan bari for the last three years, and take action against the sevika. He directed the officials to probe the role of district level officers also.

The secretary ordered to close down the Pragya Kendra at Chamsodad, Chas, and open a new Pragya Kendra there since the existing one is not functioning for the last eight months. He also directed to recover the expensed amount from the operator.

The secretary also discussed complaints related with widow and old age pension, PDS, scholarship under skill development scheme, transformer installation, and electricity supply, MUDRA loan and revenue. He directed the concerned officials to take necessary action immediately.
