Jamshedpur, July 30: Unidentified thieves burgled a house in Sakchi on Friday night and looted property worth Rs 2 lakh in six hours.
Vijay Kumar Singh, a resident of New Gandhak Road of Sakchi police station area, had gone to attend a party function along with his family members on July 29 and when they returned at 8.20 pm, it was found that the house had been robbed. The lock of the door was broken and on entering they found two cupboards were also open and the goods were scattered. After this, the information about the incident went to the Sakchi police station. On information, the police reached and after investigating the incident, a case has been registered against unknown thieves.
Vijay Kumar Singh told that he had left his house with the family at 2 pm on Friday. During search house owner claimed that apart from cash of Rs 1 lakh, two pieces of ear jewelry, one piece of gold chain and six silver coins had been stolen. Vijay Singh claimed the theft at more than Rs 2 lakh.,
