Jamshedpur : Despite efforts, cases of thefts and burglaries have become a regular affair in the city.
In yet another incident a gang of burglars decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth over Rs 5 lakh from a Sangeeta Jewellers near Goushala Talkies in Jugsalai.
In this connection, the police had registered a case of burglary on the complaint lodged by Ashok Verma, the owner of the jewellery shop.
The next moment, the shop keeper was shocked to discover the shelves were vacant and the gold jewelleries kept in them were missing.
