Jamshedpur : In yet another case of burglary, miscreants decamped with cash, and transport documents worth over Rs 2 lakh from a transport office Parcel Service located on Slag Road under Sitaramdera police station area today.
The police have received an FIR of burglary and have started probe into the incident.
According to the FIR, the burglars have taken away Rs 35,000 cash and a modem from the office and consignment of electronic items from the godown of the transporter. The manager of the transport after the preliminary inspection, he had approached the Sitaramdera police station and lodged the FIR against unknown burglars.
Officer-in-charge, Sitaramdera police station, Deepak Kumar said that they have suspicion behind the claim of burbglary at the transport office.
The officer-in-charge claimed that he had personally visited the scene of alleged burglary and was not convinced with the allegation of burglary.
“We are investigating the incident and it is too early to comment. Whoever are behind the burglary, the criminals must have known the victim’s movement,” said the officer-in-charge.
Police officials informed that the thieves and burglars tend to commit crime in dark, when the people are in deep slumber.
He pointed out if the police parties carry out an intensive patrolling then the criminals will get a message that they may be caught during any wrong doing.
