Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that bullets were not the solution of the Left-wing violence gripping the state. He was reacting to the statement given by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh for directly dealing with the Naxalites.
Speaking to scribes in Dumka on Sunday, Soren said the government should start development and welfare projects in the remote parts of the state instead of planning to rain bullets on extremists.
The state government is ready to cooperate with the Central government in every possible manner to ensure the development of the state. But taking on the Naxalites directly is no solution to the problem of extremist violence in the state, he said.
The CM talked to local people on his two visit to Dumka and asked the authorities concerned to take necessary steps to ensure quick disposal of complaints.
