Builder accused of encroaching government land

Gamharia, July 19: The Ward 3 Councilor of Adityapur has accused the builder of Vinayak Garden of encroaching government land and blocking a large drain.

A memorandum signed by hundreds of villagers was handed over to the Circle Officer, Gamharia, demanding removal of the encroachment and opening of the closed drain.

In the memorandum, the villagers alleged that Vinayak Garden, a building construction company, had raised boundary walls which had completely clogged the water exit, sources said.

Due to water-logging, thousands of commuters are facing difficulty in passing through the main road. Women, children and senior citizens are especially facing the problem.
