BSNL Jamshedpur offers 90 percent bill discount on new FTTH connections

Jamshedpur, Nov 3: BSNL’s Bharat Fibre Service, which is acting as a true enabler in synergizing the Work From Home (WFH) culture along with seamlessly providing e-education or ability to connect with each other, has received significant response across the country.

Fibre to the home (FTTH) has received huge response from the citizens of Jamshedpur as around 45% of the total growth of FTTH in Jharkhand Circle is because of Jamshedpur, said a press communique issued by Sanjeev Verma, general manager of BSNL’s Jamshedpur area.

It stated that to further boost the FTTH service and in the current festive season, an irresistible deal is offered by BSNL for all new customers. BSNL will be giving 90% discount on the first month bill, subject to maximum of Rs 500, for all new FTTH customers with immediate effect.

The communique further said that the customers interested to avail FTTH services can book their request in the website: https://bookmyfiber.bsnl.co.in. The FTTH services is available across various plans from Rs 449 per month ( speed of 30 Mbps, 3300 Giga byte per month) to Rs 1499 per month (speed of 300 Mbps, 4000 Giga byte per month), which translates to 110 GB per day.

Presently 1.8 Million FTTH customers are working across India. Every month around 1 lakh connection is being added. In Jharkhand, total FTTH connection is 41,797. The majority is working in Jamshedpur (18476, 44%) followed by Ranchi (9817 , 23%), it said.
