Jamshedpur, July 16: In a first-of-its-kind event in the city, a bridal makeup roadshow was organized, showcasing diverse bridal styles from various cultures. Over 40 young women participated, displaying their skills and creativity.
The event was organized by Kumud Kundan, director of Kumud Kundan Makeover, with the aim of promoting self-reliance among youth—especially women—through the art of makeup. Kumud has already trained over 270 women in makeup and beauty techniques.
She expressed her willingness to offer free training in makeup, hair styling, and beauty care if supported by the Jharkhand government, further enabling women to become financially independent.
Participants included Manisha, Riya Dutta, Manpreet Kaur, Deepika Das, Zeenat Afreen, Gulfshan Naz, Rukshar Khan, Sawlin Bhatia, Kakuli Singh, Dhriti Yadav, Navneet Kaur, Muskan Sen and Aarti Barik, among others.
