Jamshedpur, Aug. 6: Observing 6th day of Breastfeeding week, Inner Wheel club of Jamshedpur organized a healthy talk on importance of breastfeeding in DBMS B.ed College on Monday. Dr Renuka Chaudhary was the resource person who informed the ladies about breastfeeding and said that it helps in reducing cancer risk in mothers.
She also talked about the medical problems during pregnancy and the benefits of breastfeeding during that period. Around 80 ladies participated and benefitted from the talk. The club members thanked Dr. Renuka Chaudhary for taking out her precious time for the noble cause.
College members including Lalita Chandra Shekhar- Vice President, Priya Dharamarya- Secretary, Geeta Natrajan-Tamil Selvi and Juhi Samarpita- Principal provided full support and cooperation.
Teachers of the college were also present. Club President Shweta Chand, PP Varsha Gandhi, PP Nalini Rammurthy, PP Pasam Adesara, Treasurer Manju Singh, I.S.O Sarika along with Archana and Navita attended the event.
