Amid beating of gongs and cymbals and chants of Hari Bol, devotees pulled gigantic chariots of sibling deities- Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra to their abode during the holy Trinity’s return journey.
Processions were held at eight different places in the city and adjoining Seraikela.
International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON) organsies the biggest ‘Rath Yatra’ in Jamshedpur.
On lines of Rath Yatra at Puri, the Rath Yatra Committee at Jugsalai has been taking out the march from last seven decades. Another city-based Rath Yatra Festival Committee took out rath yatra from Baridih.
