Bonus of Narwa workers announced

Jadugoda: The contract workers of Narwa Uranium Project of the Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) will get bonus by 30th September.

This was announced by the contract worker union leader Sudhir Soren on Saturday following an agreement between the company and workers� union.

The company was represented by the additional manager PK Nayak while the workers were represented by Jharkhand Uranium Contract Labourers Organization.

The meeting was held on the premises of Narwa Union. Soren said around 300 contract workers were employed at the Narwapahar Uranium Project of UCIL.

Among others present on the occasion included Shiv Charan Murmu, Johen Das Baskey, Vidya Das, Budhrai Tudu, Baliyash Murmu and Chaitanya Soren.
