Jamshedpur, March 5: Bonsai and Herbal Park was inaugurated near Steelennium Hall inside Jamshedpur Works by Ruchi Narendran on March 4, 2021.
Growing Bonsai is to create a miniaturized but realistic representation of nature in the form of a tree whereas herbal plants are grown for medicinal use. This park has been developed to create awareness towards plant and its medicinal importance and to enhance the look and feel of the area.
The park is spread in an area of 375 square meters and has a display of 14 species of Bonsai and 15 species of herbal plants. Like Bonsai and Herbal park, last year also one Miyawaki forest was created near Pellet Plant inside Tata Steel Jamshedpur which was also the first such initiative in the company.
This is a very important step in view of environmental conservation and to improve green cover of Jamshedpur works. Tata Steel is committed towards environmental conservation and has put its best foot forward to enhance the green cover of Tata Steel Works area every year.
