XLRI Jamshedpur hosts IGNITO’24, official theme launch of Ensemble-Valhalla

Jamshedpur, October 26: Bollywood music duo Vishal-Sheykhar is set to electrify Jamshedpur with a live performance on November 25. The event promises an unforgettable evening filled with the duo’s chart-topping hits and captivating musicality.

Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani, known for their dynamic compositions and popular soundtracks, will be showcasing their talents at XLRI Grounds, bringing their music closer to fans in the region.

The event is part of Ensemble-Valhalla, XLRI’s annual festival of culture, sports, and management, a vibrant three-day extravaganza set to take place from 23rd to 25th November.

This much-anticipated event illuminates the campus calendar each year, drawing over 1,200 colleges nationally. With total prize money exceeding ₹10 lakhs, Ensemble-Valhalla guarantees a memorable experience for both participants and audiences alike. Kicking off the season’s festivities, the official theme launch event, ‘IGNITO’, unveils the festival’s theme with great anticipation. This year marks the silver jubilee, the 25th edition of Ensemble-Valhalla, themed ‘Waves of Euphoria,’ encapsulating the dynamic spirit of unity and the excitement of shared experiences. The festival promises an electrifying conclusion on Day 3 with a live performance by the legendary musical duo Vishal-Sheykhar on November 25, ensuring an unforgettable closing to this milestone celebration.

As the inaugural offline event of the new academic year, IGNITO’24 ignited immense enthusiasm among students. This year’s event was sponsored by popular eateries- Lassi Corner, Pentola, Delhi Darbar, Boba Cheers, The Shout House, Bombay Brew Café, Baba Tea Stall, and Pao Wow. The event showcased an impressive lineup of thirty team-based competitions, attracting an overwhelming student response, all competing for cash prizes worth INR 40K awarded to the top three finishers.

A showstopper after a day of competitions was the Bollywood Music Night. Held at the Basketball Court near the New Hostel area, the venue came alive with dazzling lights, booming speakers, and dancing students. This high-energy night saw the long-awaited theme reveal for Ensemble Valhalla’s 25th edition, ‘Waves of Euphoria,’ alongside the announcement of the headlining artists, the celebrated duo Vishal-Sheykhar, promising an unforgettable final night.

Idea Summit to feature eminent personalities

The Idea Summit, a key part of the event, will bring together renowned figures from different sectors to share their insights. This year’s summit will include panels featuring experts in SHO, CHRO, and Business, offering students the opportunity to engage with thought leaders. A special highlight will be the popular competitors’ panel, which is set to attract significant attention at the summit.

Ensemble-Valhalla is XLRI’s flagship cultural, sports, and management festival, attracting participants from B-schools nationwide and featuring performances by celebrated artists. The 24th edition last year brought together luminaries for panel discussions, including Vineet Nayyar, Biswapati Sarkar, Vinay Aggarwal, HR Head at Mahindra, and Asim Jagdale, CHRO of the Arvind Group. The festival’s highlights included pro-shows where comedian Nishant Suri headlined Comedy Night, and Amit Trivedi performed live for the Artist Night on Campus.
