Body of missing four-year-old girl found in well

Jamshedpur, Feb 5: The lifeless body of a four-year-old girl, missing since February 2, was discovered in a well outside the village of Gaintadih under Parsudih police station. The young girl, identified as Chandu Kui, had gone missing while playing outside her house in Moyka Alda, Gaintadih.

Despite extensive searches by family members, there was no sign of the girl, leading to the registration of a case at Parsudih police station. On Monday, family members made a tragic discovery when they found the girl’s body in a well situated in a field near Keenudih village. The girl was found partially submerged in water.

The police were promptly informed, and upon reaching the location, they retrieved the girl’s body from the well and arranged for a postmortem examination. The police station in-charge, Ramkumar Verma, revealed that the girl had gone missing while playing near her house on February 2, prompting her parents to report the incident to the police the following day.

The exact cause of the girl’s unfortunate demise will be determined once the postmortem report is available. This incident has left the community in sorrow, and authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
