Jamshedpur, Feb 15: On Thursday morning, the body of an unidentified person with its throat slit was discovered in the bushes near the Kitadih potato warehouse under Parsudih police station. On receiving information about the discovery of the body, the police arrived at the scene and commenced their investigation. The body was found wrapped in a blanket, with the deceased wearing only sandals. The police are treating the case as murder. The body has been sent for postmortem. Speaking about the incident, Parsudih Police Station in-charge Faiz Ahmad stated that local residents had notified the police telephonically. It appeared that the body was thrown into the bushes near the roadside potato warehouse with the intention of concealing evidence. The road is currently closed due to ongoing repair work, complicating the identification process of the body. The police estimated the body to be three to four days old. Presently, the police are gathering information about missing persons from surrounding areas to identify the deceased.
